Dogs for Rehoming

At Ainmhithe we endeavour to match the dogs we re-home to the family situation as this is to everyone’s benefit, especially the dogs. Making the decision to give a dog a home should not be taken lightly, and requires a great deal of consideration. If you have made that decision give us a ring or email us and give us more of an idea about you and the kind of dog you are seeking. You can come to view a dog at the Sanctuary by appointment or we can call to you. Home-checks are required for all dogs re-homed. Prior to re homing all our rescued animal are health checked, vaccinated by a veterinarian and if old enough they are neutered/spayed.

Willow(female)

Staffie Willow is lively and playful. She would suit a home with another female dog or as an only dog, and she cannot be homed with cats. She needs lead training and will do best in a home with breed experience. She however is eager to learn and keen to please.

1 year old Shakelton came in with Crean and the other Endurance dogs as a welfare case. He is doing really well. He is sociable and gets on well with other dogs. He is still young and very active and loves people. Are you the active dog experienced home for him?

Rizzo (Female)

7 month old Rizzo is good with other dogs, and she loves to play. She came with her sister Frenchie and they didn’t have a good start in life. They are both gentle girls but will need to go to a collie experienced home to reach their full potential.

7 month old Frenchie is Rizzo’s sister. She is also scared but coming out of her shell. She will need to go to a collie experienced home to reach her full potential.

Nearly 2 year old Sandy is Jade’s sister. She is also nervous and quiet but is improving all the time. She had a litter of pups recently and is just getting back on her feet.
