TED & DOUGAL AT THE TIME OF RESCUE...
Ted & Dougal were rescued over a year ago from a local housing estate they were very nervous as they had been badly treated by their “owners” they were handed into Ainmhithe and are now in our care and shall remain until they have been fully rehabilitated. It may not be possible to re home them as there are so many unwanted horses and ponies all over the county and the fact that they are so nervous of humans. Ted and Dougal will have a home at the Sanctuary all long as they required. If you would like to help us care for Ted & Dougal please make a small donation as little as €5.00 or a once off donation..

GRAINNE HAPPY AT LAST NEEDS A SPONSOR

When Grainne was handed when she was expecting puppies, she delivered eight puppies the day after she arrived at the Sanctuary. Homes were found for all of her puppies but unfortunately it was not possible to re home Grainne as she was very fearful of strangers and would “snap” , as a result the decision had to be made to let Grainne remain as a “sticky” dog. Her aggression towards strangers was due to abuse in the past but only manifested itself after she had her puppies. Grainne will remain at the Sanctuary and is happy with her life there.

MASIE ENJOYS A NAP NEEDS A SPONSOR

Masie has been with us since 2004, she was handed in as her elderly owner had passed away. However it was not possible to re-home Masie at that time as she has a rare illness. Masie loves to lie in the sun in the window of the cattery and watch the world go by on a summers day. If you would like to sponsor or make a small donation to help us care for Masie then on her behalf....thank you.
